The Manxman returned to Deceuninck – Quick-Step in 2021 after five years, and is extremely motivated to continue adding to the team, just like he did in his previous tenure, when he amassed over 40 wins, eight of which came in Grand Tours.

Since its inception, Deceuninck – Quick-Step has scored over 800 UCI victories, including 20 Monuments, 5 World Road Race Championships, 6 World ITT Championships, 4 World TTT Championships, 2 World Cups and an Olympic Title. In 2020, Deceuninck – Quick-Step was the most successful squad in the world for an astonishing ninth year in a row, thanks to 39 UCI victories.
